The Valet Supervisor directly reports to the Food & Beverage Director and oversees the team of Valet Attendants.  This position is responsible for facilitating exceptional service to our members by making an excellent first and last impression on every member and their guest and providing safe and efficient service.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, reform, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for the department including high volume day procedures
  • Monitor the parking lots to assist members from their cars, identify suspicious behavior, ensure cleanliness, and track available spaces
  • Maintain proper key security for all vehicles in the Club's possession
  • Maintain an electric vehicle charging log and assign accurate charges to members
  • Attention to detail in cleanliness and organization of podium, lots, charging station, gates, and main entrance
  • Maximize member satisfaction by providing impeccable service and providing assistance when needed
  • Address member and guest incidents and complaints and brining matters to management
  • Assure that all standard operating procedures for sales and cost controls are consistently followed
  • Conduct daily pre-shift and post-shift meetings to review team duties for the day
  • Hire, and train valet staff on safety procedures and proper documentation procedures etc.
  • Create the weekly schedule. Monitor weather and special events to adjust as necessary
  • Conduct mid-year and yearly reviews with goals for employees
  • Supervise, coach, and counsel staff on service standards, uniform and grooming policies, and professional behavior standards
  • Monitor equipment and uniform supply and replace when necessary
  • Stay updated on Banquet Event Orders
  • Maintain New Member and Visitor logs and provide the team with knowledge to greet New Members and Visitors by name
  • Maintain the Club's Uber account and log. Call Taxi services for members in need
  • Communicate with Food and Beverage management for intoxicated members and guests to get them home safely and in accordance with state law
  • Send staff parking texts to inform staff of special parking instructions
  • Communicate with the security gate, HOA, and external lots for special instructions
  • Manage the Carwash amenity for the membership. Communicate with the contact company and members. Maintain a proper log and charge members accurately and accordingly. Mitigate carwash problems with management.
  • Communicate with Member Services any luggage members or guests ask us to hold. Log and Tag anything we take into possession to ensure safety and security of items.
  • Adhere to additional duties and responsibilities assigned by management

 

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must have previous valet operations experience
  • Must be 21 years of age, have a valid license to operate vehicles, and have a safe driving record.
  • Must be computer literate and proficient with POS units and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Excel in verbal and written communication.
  • Extensive Valet operations knowledge.
  • Ability to operate all types of vehicles with Manual and Automatic Transmissions.
  • Experience in operating luxury and specialty exotic vehicles including Ferrari, Lamborghini, Rolls Royce, Bentley, Aston Martin, Maybach, McLaren, Porsche, and specialized Mercedes Benz AMG and BMW M models. Motorcycle operation experience preferred, but not necessary
  • General knowledge of state, county and city liquor laws.
  • Ability to develop, execute, teach and follow up on training programs for valet staff.
  • Ability to coordinate a team of diverse personalities and positions using excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coach & counsel staff members in a positive, results driven manner.
  • Ability to multitask efficiently

 

Physical/Environmental Demands:

Requires lifting up to 50 lbs. Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, twist and turn for prolonged periods of time. Banquet set up entails moving tables, chairs, equipment, etc.
